The upper reaches of this week’s chart may look calm, but beneath an unchanged top three, several records are gaining momentum.
Ella Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas” remains at No. 1 on the chart dated September 19, 2026. Stella Lefty’s “Boston” holds at No. 2, while Taylor Swift’s “I Knew It, I Knew You” stays at No. 3.
The first change arrives at No. 4, where Morgan Wallen’s “Been By Now” rises one position. Ariana Grande’s former chart-topper “Hate That I Made You Love Me” moves down one place to No. 5.
That stability leaves this week’s most interesting developments farther down the ranking: a new Top 10 entry, the arrival of five songs from outside last week’s Top 40, and a 27-position surge from the week’s biggest climber.
Karol G reaches the Top 10
“BbY WOW” by Karol G with Judeline and rusowsky makes the most consequential move near the top of the chart, advancing six positions from No. 16 to No. 10.
The rise gives the collaboration a new peak in its fifth chart week. It also makes “BbY WOW” the only new arrival in this week’s Top 10.
Ella Langley’s “Be Her” moves from No. 10 to No. 9, while Bruno Mars’ “Risk It All” slips from No. 9 to No. 11. Together, those movements produce the only change in the Top 10’s membership.
The rest of the group remains remarkably settled. Tame Impala and JENNIE’s “Dracula” holds at No. 6, Olivia Dean occupies both No. 7 with “So Easy (To Fall in Love)” and No. 8 with “Man I Need,” and the chart’s leading three songs remain unmoved.
ADELA makes the week’s largest jump
No song travels farther this week than ADELA’s “Ain’t In LA.”
The song vaults 27 positions, moving from No. 57 to No. 30 in its sixth week on the chart. The jump also establishes a new peak.
That combination matters. A large increase caused by a return to an earlier peak can represent renewed interest, but “Ain’t In LA” is entering previously uncharted territory. Its next chart will reveal whether this is a single-week acceleration or the beginning of a sustained climb.
Beyoncé’s “Morning Dew (Donk)” posts another notable gain, rising seven positions from No. 38 to No. 31. It is now five places below its existing No. 26 peak.
Five songs enter the Top 40
The lower portion of the ranking experiences considerably more turnover than the top.
Five songs appear in the Top 40 after sitting below it—or outside the chart entirely—a week earlier:
- ADELA’s “Ain’t In LA” rises from No. 57 to No. 30.
- Cody Johnson’s “Take Me Back (Leave Me There)” advances from No. 43 to a new No. 33 peak.
- Miley Cyrus’ “Bass Persuades” debuts at No. 35.
- Teddy Swims’ “Mr. Know It All” climbs from No. 41 to a new No. 38 peak.
- Luke Combs’ “Rethink Some Things” rises from No. 50 to a new No. 40 peak.
“Bass Persuades” is the Top 40’s only debut this week. Its No. 35 opening gives it less immediate momentum than the week’s large climbers, but it begins with one advantage they did not have: there is no established chart trajectory yet. Its second week will provide the first meaningful indication of direction.
Cody Johnson’s 10-position move is especially timely. “Take Me Back (Leave Me There)” has needed only four chart weeks to reach No. 33, making it one of the youngest songs in this week’s Top 40.
Luke Combs also gains 10 places, although “Rethink Some Things” follows a much longer path. The song reaches the Top 40 in its 24th chart week.
Ella Langley extends her Top 40 presence
Langley does more than retain the No. 1 position. She appears on five songs in the Top 40:
- “Choosin’ Texas” at No. 1
- “Be Her” at No. 9
- “I Can’t Love You Anymore” with Morgan Wallen at No. 14
- “Jaded” with Koe Wetzel at No. 23
- “Loving Life Again” at No. 24
Three of those songs rise this week. “Be Her” advances one position, “Jaded” gains four, and “Loving Life Again” also climbs four places.
That depth makes Langley’s current chart presence more significant than a single record-setting hit. She has one song leading the ranking, a second inside the Top 10, and three additional entries within the Top 25.

Longevity remains a Top 10 strength
Several of the chart’s longest-running songs are not merely surviving—they remain firmly inside the Top 10.
Olivia Dean’s “Man I Need” holds at No. 8 in its 55th chart week. Her “So Easy (To Fall in Love)” remains at No. 7 in week 50, while “Dracula” by Tame Impala and JENNIE also reaches its 50th week at No. 6.
All three have already passed their peaks, but their continued Top 10 positions demonstrate unusually durable demand. Together, they form a stable block immediately below the chart’s five highest-ranked songs.
